Welcome to ACCORD!
ACCORD offers certified mediators that have years of conflict resolution experience. Mediation is a facilitative process that allows both parties the opportunity to find an agreement that they deem fair. The mediator uses prior training and experience to guide those involved through the practice of negotiation. Often, mediation is instrumental in uncovering solutions that had not previously been considered by either party. Vist us at

Divorce mediation is probably the fastest growing sector of alternative dispute resolution. Parties who avoid going to trial retain the ability to determine their own outcomes on such issues as parenting plans, property allocations, alimony, and child support. However, the strongest benefit to this process is the ability to achieve a shared resolution to the end of the marriage.

Private Mediation can direct attention to often-overlooked details while providing the opportunity for closure in a supportive environment. Given that there are no papers to file with the court, a divorce attorney is not necessary. However, any agreement reached in mediation is legally binding and can be enforced by a civil court.
