New York Divorce Mediation is a co-mediation practice, combining the expertise of both a male and female mediator for each and every mediation session. In addition, NYDM provides a network of professional resources including legal services, therapeutic support, and financial as well as career counseling. NYDM provides a safe and non-adversarial environment in which families resolve conflict together to arrive at mutually acceptable agreements.

About
Harriet Gerber, of NYDM, is a registered nurse and licensed attorney who has been trained to help people in conflict. Prior to law school, Ms. Gerber worked with psychiatric and substance abuse patients. Following law school, she was received training in basic & advanced mediation, as well as custody and visitation mediation. Ms. Gerber is on the Nassau County Family Court Mediator Panel. Ms. Gerber can draft your agreement & divorce paperwork, and file all documents with the court.

About the Mediators
Lawrence Gulino is a former school mental health practitioner, and has trained extensively in the fields of marriage and family counseling. Mr. Gulino has been a divorce mediator for more than two decades and has helped hundreds of divorcing couples to mediate fair and balanced agreements.
