Description
Ingrid Slezak is a experienced attorney who now limits her practice to divorce and family law mediation. She brings her knowledge and experience to assist parties in negotiating agreements in a collaborative, non-adversarial manner. Her substantive expertise and a high degree of empathy enable the parties to resolve issues based on their unique needs and interests.

Background
After many years as a divorce lawyer, in 1994 Ingrid turned her practice to medation to work with couples in all aspects of family law, from prenuptials to divorces, domestic partnership dissolutions and post-divorce modifications. She is an active member of the Oregon State Bar, on the board of the Oregon Academy of Family Law Practioners, a member of Oregon Mediation Association and an advanced practioner member of the Association of Conflict Resolution (formerly Academy of Family Mediators.) Ingrid developed the parent education classes mandated in Multnomah and Clackamas counties. Ingrid obtained her initial mediation training at the Center for Dispute Resolution in Boulder, CO and received advanced training at Harvard Law School.
